The Way, starring Martin Sheen and directed by his son Emilio Estevez, is a poignant story of a father's journey in coming to terms with the loss of his son by walking the Pilgrim's Way in Spain ("El camino de Santiago"), on which his son died. As he walks, he meets some interesting fellow pilgrims, each with their own intention for doing so, who become 'companions on the way.'
