Personality as Path: As above So Below

Have you ever felt that your life seems to be pre-destined in some way?  You might have felt you are participating in a universal pattern of life that connects everything to everyone.

Astrology is a 5,000-year-old practice that links the archetypal backdrop of our world with individual experience.  Combined with the concepts and principles of Jungian Psychology, astrology becomes a powerful tool to deepen our self-knowledge and our spiritual journeys. In this connection, we can find the living connection between the symbolic life of the SOUL that was described by Carl Jung, and our understanding of the natal chart.

This lecture takes a journey through Jung’s relationship with astrology and how we can understand its messages and images as a tool for our individuation journey.   No astrological knowledge is needed to benefit from this lecture.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Christina Becker completed her training at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich Switzerland, the only institute in the world that was founded but C.G. Jung. In addition to her Jungian training, she studied astrology at the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London, England, and with Liz Greene through the Astrodeinst seminars in Zurich.

In 2018, she founded Jungian Master Classes with a mission to provide an online education community for seekers wanting to deepen their individuation journey. Our programs offer transformative education that incorporates opportunities to bring Jung's ideas into students' daily lived experiences. We provide Jungian based education via online courses that emphasize the practical applications of Jung's theories and ideas. Christina is an engaged and lively workshop leader.

Christina Becker is the author of The Heart of the Matter: Individuation as an Ethical Process, which was published in 2014, and is actively working on a second book that explores the connection between mysticism and psychoanalysis.

She has been in private practice since 2000 and lectured widely.
