Core Concepts 1: Fundamental Concepts of Analytical Psychology

The Calgary Jung Society is pleased to present a unique online opportunity for those seeking to enhance their understanding of Jungian concepts that underlie Jungian psychology and that are part of an approach to understanding themselves. Judith Slimmon, a Jungian analyst residing and practicing in Victoria, will provide her perspective on Jung in a 5-week seminar.

This seminar is an introduction. No previous reading or study is required in order to participate.  A reading list will be provided.

The following is a sequence of weekly topics:

- Consciousness/Unconsciousness; Ego/Self

- Shadow/Persona

- Complex Theory, Archetype/Instinct

- Anima/Animus; Psychological Type

- Dreams; The Symbol; Individuation

This course will have assigned readings which will be emailed prior to each week’s class. Please read them beforehand and be prepared to discuss! Judith looks forward to your questions in class as well.
