Book Club #2: Living between worlds: Finding personal resilience in changing times (2020)  by James Hollis

What guides us when our world is changing? Discover the path to deeper meaning and purpose through depth psychology and classical thought.

Through this book, Dr. Hollis “brings profound insight and sophistication to the inner journey. In Living Between Worlds, he broadens his lens to encompass the relationship between our inner struggles and the rapidly shifting realities of modern human existence. He asks: How did we get to this crossroads in history? And will we make it through―individually and as a species? “

Join a group of like-minded Jungian students (that means you, members of the Calgary Jung Society!) to share your understanding and to more deeply explore your “’locus of knowing’―an inner wellspring of deep resilience beyond the ego, always available to guide you back to the imperatives of your soul.”

This book club will meet once a month through to April on Thursdays, beginning October 7 and will be hosted by Marg McKaig. You must purchase your own copy of the book; it is available through Amazon, Indigo, etc. There is a registration fee for the group.
