Befriending Your Shadow and Finding your Soul

In this day-long interactive workshop, participants will dive into the shadow and befriending the parts of ourselves that we have lost.  In the honest and courageous task of working with ourselves, we find life energy and our destiny.  They will engage in practical exercises that will deepen student’s awareness of themselves and their individuation journey.  Students will be able to incorporate the material into their daily lives afterwards to live more authentic and compassionate lives.   Participants can expect to:

  • Learn how to recognize Jung’s concept of the shadow in relation to other parts of the psyche
  • Discuss the  concept of the shadow as it appears in their lives and the lives of others
  • Practice identifying the shadow through experiential exercises
  • Utilize the psychological concept of integrity in working with the shadow
  • Apply self-compassion and heartfelt communication in moving from the shadow to an experience of the SOUL.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Christina completed her training at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich Switzerland; the only institute in the world that was founded but C.G. Jung. In addition to her Jungian training, she studied astrology at the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London, England, and with Liz Greene through the Astrodeinst seminars in Zurich.

In 2018, she founded Jungian Master Classes with a mission to provide an online education community for seekers wanting to deepen their individuation journey. Our programs offer transformative education that incorporates opportunities to bring Jung's ideas into students' daily lived experiences. We provide Jungian based education via online courses that emphasize the practical applications of Jung's theories and ideas.

Christina is an engaged and lively workshop leader. She is the author of The Heart of the Matter: Individuation as an Ethical Process, which was published in 2014, and is actively working on a second book that explored the connection between mysticism and psychoanalysis.

She has been in private practice since 2000 and has lectured widely.
