This workshop will use two films: one classic (Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window) and one modern (James Cameron’s Aliens) to illustrate and deepen understanding of Jungian concepts such as Archetype, Shadow, Anima/Animus, Ego-Self Axis, Self, and others. Rear Window will be used to explore these concepts from the Male perspective and Aliens from the Female perspective, in order to give participants a fuller and deeper understanding. Clinical examples will also be added to help translate what we see on the screen into what it looks like for the average person on their individuation path.
