Join us for our Annual General Meeting and for a screening of Adam Graydon Reid's film: Marion Woodman: Dancing in the Flames.

We said farewell to Marion Woodman in 2018, and this film remains a testament to the woman who was a wonderful example of living a Jungian life.

The AGM will be held at 7 pm, followed by the free film screening.

Come learn about the Calgary Jung Society and join us for a stimulating discussion about the film.

This event is for members, and invited guests.

About the film

Powerful and insightful, this documentary provides a close up look at the life of renowned Jungian Analyst and author, Marion Woodman. With honesty and her trademark wit, Woodman shares the mysteries of her own soul's journey and reveals a series of psychological "deaths" and "Rebirths" that made her one of the wisest and authentic women of the twentieth century. Featuring stunning animation from Academy Award winning artist, Faith Hubley, and dialogue and insight from author and mystic, Andrew Harvey. Marion weaves her inner and outer lives together and transmits the core truth of what it is to be human.

"Extraordinary. I love the art, the mixing of dreams and vision, interview and poetry... It captures Marion Woodman's essence perfectly. A truly wonderful film." –Eve Ensler, playwright, activist, creator of The Vagina Monologues

"The film beautifully captures the feisty spirit of the renowned Jungian analyst, author, and cancer survivor, who, for decades, has taught that the reemergence of feminine principles is necessary for healing the Earth and ourselves." –Melissa Chianta, Mothering Magazine
