AGM and Dramatic Reading!

Please join us for the Calgary Jung Society (CJS) Annual General Meeting on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 7:30 PM. At this time, the Board of Directors will report briefly on the activities of the society for this past fiscal year and present a budget for 2020.
We will also be accepting nominations to fill two vacancies on the Board, those being treasurer and secretary. The Board meets approximately 8 times per year to plan and coordinate events. The secretary records and transcribes the minutes of these meetings and is mindful of archiving the doings of the CJS. The position of treasurer requires some accounting knowledge (or willingness to learn) and reconciliation of monies at the end of the month. Please consider volunteering…

As well, to entice you to come this evening, the CJS is presenting a unique performance, a readers’ theatre of Elizabeth Clark-Stern’s play Out of the Shadows: A story of Toni Wolff and Emma Jung. This play not only explores the relationship between Toni Wolff (Jung’s paramour) and Emma Jung (Jung’s wife) over 40 years, but also follows the development of the field of psychology. We are quite excited to bring you a glimpse into the life and thoughts of two women in Jung’s life and we hope that you will wholly enjoy this experience.
There is no cost to this event; however, donations will be accepted to offset the costs of copyright, the scripts, and rental of the rehearsal space.
