Book Club: The Eden Project: In Search of the Magical Other (1998) by James Hollis

The Eden Project is a book about the psychological reality of relationships. We are in search of the Magical Other. This is the one who will heal all our childhood wounds and meet all our unmet needs. We continue to search for this person until hopefully one day we grow up and realize that it is only our mature selves that can do this for us.
Join a group of like-minded Jungian students (that means you, members of the Calgary Jung Society!) to share your understanding and to explore a deeper reality of relationship.
You must purchase your own copy of the book; it is available through Amazon, Indigo, etc. There is a registration fee for the group, registration is only open to members.
This book club will meet for 6 Thursdays between September 29th to December 15th and will be hosted by Marg McKaig.
Marg is an active, outdoorsy lady who is also pursuing her internal journey. She retired 5 years ago from medical sales. She loves gardening, cycling, golf, skiing, walking/hiking, music and the Jung Society. She has been a member of The Jung Society for 9 years and served on the executive board from 2015-2021. She has been blessed with 2 adult children and 3 amazing grandchildren. She is loving life particularly through a Jungian lens which helps focus her on what is truly meaningful. She is very much looking forward to meeting and getting to know you through the upcoming bookclub on "The Eden Project".
