The Calgary Jung Society would like to welcome you to our 2023 Annual General Meeting. We will begin with a 20 minute meeting, followed by a video interview with Marie-Louise Von Franz, and will end with time for discussion and socializing over coffee and cookies. Most members of the board will be in attendance and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We would also like to remind members that we still have two important vacancies on the board, that of Volunteer Coordinator and Membership Secretary. If you would like to find out more about these positions, the AGM will be a great opportunity for you to do so.
This event is free for all to attend. Voting will be limited to Calgary Jung Society members, but we warmly welcome non-members to come along, too. Please feel free to invite friends and family who may be interested to find out more about the society.
This interview with Marie-Louise von Franz, conducted at her tower in Bollingen in 1982, gives us insight into her life, her encounter and subsequent co-work with C.G. Jung, and her understanding of Jungian psychology. She talks about her own work and on dream interpretation, creativity, synchronicity, and alchemy. Of particular interest to those who have read her works, this short film puts a human face and personality to a wide-ranging and authoritative figure in Analytical Psychology.
